A proactive assistant, available now

Hark presents Pro as an assistant intended to anticipate needs, remember information users tell it and reduce friction during the day.[2] The company says its proactive system can use its tools to address challenges before users encounter them.[2] One example Hark gives is noticing a student’s low lunch-card balance and flagging that it needs a refill.[2] With the user’s permission, Hark says the service can refill the card itself.[2]

Websites, connected accounts and tasks

Hark says its Handoff computer-use model can operate as many as six browsers simultaneously and log in to millions of websites on a user’s behalf.[2] It says Handoff can use websites the user can access on the web, alongside direct connections to services such as Google and Outlook through APIs.[2] Other features include scheduled tasks and reminders, dedicated chats that keep files in their own threads, and custom Panels that draw on connected accounts.[2] Action Buttons can also let users pay bills or cancel subscriptions with a tap, Hark says.[2]

Free access, paid usage tiers

Hark says Hark Pro is free for everyone, and that its features are available on the free plan as well as paid plans.[2][3] The company’s pricing page lists a $20-per-month plan with twice as much usage and a $100-per-month plan with ten times as much usage.[3] The announcement therefore gives prospective users a way to test the feature set without a subscription, while teams evaluating sustained use should compare their expected activity with the paid plans’ stated usage multipliers.

Privacy claims and hardware plans

Hark says its Secured by Hark vault encrypts sensitive information, including credit cards and passwords, and that the company cannot see inside it.[2] It also says it will not sell user data or share it with advertisers.[2] The Next Web reported that Hark’s devices are due in 2027, but that nobody outside the company had seen the hardware at the time of its report.[4] The same publication said Hark had not stated whether Hark Pro was available in Europe.[4] It also reported that Meta had launched a competing agent at the same three price points four weeks earlier.[4]

Professionals can assess Hark Pro as a potential interface for routine digital tasks, with a free tier that lowers the cost of an initial trial. The practical questions are whether its connected-account actions fit a team’s workflows and controls, and whether its usage limits and availability meet that team’s needs.
