Amsterdam, 30 September 2026

AI learning platform kju.ai has finished as runner-up in the startup pitch competition at Human[X] Europe, the leading AI conference held from 22 to 24 September at Amsterdam RAI. What made this competition unique is that every entry went through a technical review by developers, venture partners and enterprise CTOs. From hundreds of applicants, 25 semi-finalists and six finalists were selected, each doing incredible work within their own subfield of AI. Avendar won the competition; kju.ai and Socialtrait finished as joint runners-up. For kju.ai, the result came three weeks after the platform's launch.

Two weeks ago we shared that we were through to the semi-final. We made the final and came home with a runner-up place.

kju.ai has also been listed in the KVK Innovatie Top 100 2026, the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce's annual selection of innovative companies.

Daily learning, because AI doesn't stand still

kju.ai helps professionals and teams build practical AI skills through short, daily learning sessions tailored to role, industry and skill level, complemented by weekly hands-on challenges drawn from their own day-to-day work. The hyper-personalised content is re-curated every day from the developments of a constantly changing AI landscape: there is no fixed curriculum and no finish line.

With kju.ai, enterprises can track AI fluency across separate domains and factor in the importance of each concept to each specific role. For example, someone in legal needs a different AI skill set than someone in marketing. Alongside the daily sessions, the platform offers in-depth learning tracks per topic, from prompt engineering to AI governance, delivers news tailored to role and industry, and a personalised coaching podcast that summarises each user's progress.

The platform has been available on web and mobile since 4 September 2026, for individual users and for teams rolling it out through their employer.

Making AI adoption measurable

For organisations, kju.ai is built to solve a persistent problem: companies invest in AI tools and training, but can rarely see whether employees actually use those AI tools in their work afterwards. Because the learning happens daily and around the work itself, an organisation gains insight into where adoption is growing, which skills are demonstrably mastered, and which teams need support. AI adoption becomes a measurable, daily habit rather than a one-off training project.

"We officially launched three weeks before the event, so reaching the final and finishing as runner-up before a jury of investors and industry experts is a clear validation of our vision," says Alex van Gennep, co-founder and CEO of kju.ai. "Our starting point is that AI changes constantly, and that learning therefore has to be a continuous process. For companies that means: you build AI adoption daily, and what you build daily, you can measure."
